About / 01

I'm
Shreyansh.

My work sits somewhere between research and production. I use ideas from research as starting points, develop my own hypotheses, and test them through experiments and systems I build. The process often works in both directions—research shapes what I build, while building exposes new questions worth investigating.

Over time, this has taken me from experimenting with machine learning models to exploring intelligent systems, scientific machine learning, latent reasoning, and computational methods. I'm particularly interested in understanding how better algorithms and computation can make intelligent systems more capable.

Outside of this, you'll usually find me playing cricket, listening to music, or walking in nature. I like keeping things simple, staying curious, and making time to slow down.

A little more

I'm drawn to problems where the boundary between research and engineering is not very clear.

Most of my work revolves around understanding intelligent systems from the inside out. That means experimenting with language models, reinforcement learning, retrieval systems, agents, and the infrastructure needed to make these ideas work outside a notebook.

I'm particularly interested in the direction AI is moving toward: systems that can reason, use tools, learn from feedback, and operate reliably in real environments.

How I work

Curiosity
becomes
experiments.

01

Learn

Understand the ideas behind the systems before reaching for the implementation.

02

Build

Turn what I learn into something real, useful, and testable.

03

Break

Question assumptions, experiment with alternatives, and find where things fail.

04

Repeat

Use every experiment as a way to understand the problem a little better.

Experience

  • AI Research Intern

    @O6AI Labs Pvt LtdOffer Letter
    Jul 2025 - Present
    • Conducted research on fine-tuning a 500M-parameter language model using LoRA and GRPO, designing custom reward functions and systematic evaluation protocols; resulting work published in an IEEE conference.
    • Designed and developed O6-Suite, an agent-driven command center built around a "less UI, more intelligence" paradigm, unifying data and event flows through a shared computational substrate; engineered a graph-based state layer for evolving entities and relationships and a mathematically-driven B2B ranking system based on relevance, urgency, and user preferences.
    • Developed autonomous multi-agent pipelines for Beacon, O6's recruitment vertical, automating workflows from screening to voice agents with minimal human-in-the-loop; applied DSPy, GEPA, CodeAct, and RLM-inspired architectures to reduce token usage by 40% while improving long-context reasoning reliability.
    • Contributed to several additional internal AI systems and product projects across O6's verticals, spanning research, architecture, and development.
  • Computer Vision Engineer Intern

    August 2024 - November 2024
    Built a real-time inmate monitoring system using OpenCV and a pre-trained facial recognition model, enabling accurate identification from a single image across hostel/PG facilities; utilized SQLite to log and manage entry/exit records locally. Engineered sub-millisecond latency communication between the DVR camera server and the recognition model using ZeroMQ, supporting two simultaneous live video streams and ensuring uninterrupted frame processing under load. Integrated pickle, threading, and logging to enhance performance and reliability—enabled efficient frame serialization, concurrent stream handling, and robust debugging via structured logs.

Position of Responsibilty

  • Technical Lead

    @Innovation Incubation and Entherpreneurship CellLetter of Recommendation
    February 2025 - February 2026

    I spearheaded the successful delivery of over nine diverse technical projects, including impactful collaborations with AICTE, various NITs, and other institutional partners. Currently, I’m overseeing multiple ongoing in-house innovation and development initiatives, while also contributing to the growth of several startups. Additionally, I organized and led two major hackathons—a 24-hour and a 48-hour event—both designed to foster innovation, teamwork, and real-world problem-solving among participants.

  • Technical Lead

    @Slug and Plug
    October 2024 - July 2025

    I led my club in organizing and executing four workshops, two symposiums, and two hackathons, engaging over 500 participants and fostering a strong culture of learning and innovation. I also led the development team and contributed to building a sleek and interactive Next.js-based website that showcases our work in a dynamic way. Link: https://slugnplug.vercel.app/

    @National Service Scheme
    October 2023 - Present

    I actively participated in organizing six blood donation camps, engaging over 500 donors and contributing to the collection of approximately 450+ units of blood to support healthcare and emergency needs. I also played a leading role in organizing seven awareness rallies focused on critical social issues such as women’s education, women’s safety, cyber awareness, anti-ragging, and anti-drug campaigns. These initiatives directly impacted over 1,000 participants and reached thousands more through community outreach and media coverage.
